The company S.C. ECOFISH S.R.L. was set up based on the Articles of Incorporation authenticated on September 20th, 2000, registered as legal entity and having the legal form of limited liability company. General project description is given by the endowment with high-performance technological machines for primary fish processing, as well as for manufacturing fish partially preserved products; for manufacturing fishsticks and fishburgers; for manufacturing roe, as well as for creating spaces with controlled atmosphere for rapid freezing and storage until delivery or processing.
The first stage of the project work meant establishing an operation line for waste processing and a fish processing line. The company was equipped with machines both through foreign companies, and through Romanian companies. The machines are made in 2004.
The company is a secured institution, equipped with an access control system and with surveillance cameras, and thus the entire process is permanently under control. At present, we have a number of 200 employees.

The factory is continually growing. The increase in value of the fishing industry, achieved by bigger prices, will certainly lead to the increase in value of the fishing permits and so it will discourage fishermen practice of selling their fishing permits. By eliminating this anti-economic practice, we will contribute to an increase in the regional employment of fishermen and at the same time we will create new jobs.
For product manufacturing we use traditional recipes, based on natural ingredients. Raw materials result, mainly, from own production, such as fresh freshwater and saltwater fish, and the rest are imported raw materials, as frozen fish. The technological stream begins by primary processing and continues in 5 other processing lines: roe salads, marinades, glazed products and fishburgers. All these processes are based on the latest technologies.
